Mount Parnassus – in ancient times was known as the home of the Muses, the emissaries of literature, the sciences, and the arts.

Careers at Parnassus

Working at Parnassus Preparatory School is not a job, but a career path and journey into personal growth and development — one with great personal satisfaction from seeing the impact of the classical Trivium education on the lives of our students. Teachers are responsible for the education of their students. As role models to their students, teachers are expected to demonstrate high moral character and professionalism and to embrace the Parnassus Pillars of Character.

Teachers and staff are accountable to the Executive Director and assigned administrators. They are employed at-will and operate as professionals within the guidelines established by the Executive Director and Board of Directors. These guidelines ensure that instruction will be consistent with the classical Trivium curriculum and sequence. By joining the Parnassus team, individuals will have the distinct privilege of significantly impacting students’ lives.
