Spring Colloquium & Book Discussion

Join us for a discussion and colloquium on The Lord of the Flies lead by Magister Mathews, School of Rhetoric English teacher! The 1954 novel by Nobel Prize-winning British author William Golding has been named one of the Modern Library’s 100 Best Novels and was one of the required readings for Parnassus staff last summer.
Taking place during an un-specified war-time, this novel focuses on a group of British boys who’ve become stranded on an uninhabited island and their disastrous attempt to govern themselves.
