Parnassus is delighted to offer the Taekwondo program at the school for all students. They learn not only physical education, but also self-defense skills, leadership skills along with a character development program. Earning belts is part of this extra curricular program and not included at the school Taekwondo. Parnassus students that chose this extra curricula program could be a Black Belt by the time they get to seventh grade assuming they started in kindergarten. The Taekwondo curriculum at school will advance regardless if the student is participating in this extra activity program or not.
This extra curricula program allows students to earn their belts as well as take additional classes at the WTA facilities in the Northwest metro. This is a fee-based program offered to students all students starting in kindergarten and up.
